Happy animals = healthy animals, which is why our pork is pasture raised in the sunshine and fresh air. With both our half and full pork orders you can fully customize your cuts and packaging! Here are some examples of cuts that can be included in your order:

HALF ORDERS
Order Weight
Average hanging weight is approx. 100 lbs (this is the weight of the carcass after initial slaughter, including organs, fat and bones. This is the number your price/lb for the meat and butcher fees is based on, which is typical for farm direct ordering. This number can vary +/- 30 lbs. per half).
Average packaged weight is approx. 60 lbs (this is the amount that will end up in your freezer once the order has been trimmed, cut and wrapped. This number can vary +/- 30 lbs. per half).
Price
Approximate all-in price is $575, including butcher fees.
The final price is based on the weight of your half, which can vary up to +/- 30 lbs. per half.
Price breakdown:
Pork Cost (Hansen Beef): $4.25 (no GST)
Butcher fees (Country Quality Meats): $1/lb. + additional butcher fees for slaughter, cooling, recycling of approx. $55 (plus GST).
Price example:
Pork: 100 lbs x $4.25 = $425
Butcher fees: 100 lbs x $1 + $55 = $146.50 x 5% = $162.75
Total cost: $425 + $162.75 = $587.75
Deposit & Method of Payment
We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to pre-order. Balance is not due until order pick up/delivery. We accept e-transfer, cheque or cash.
Delivery & Pick up
Pick up is available at Country Quality Meats in Bon Accord, AB. We also offer delivery or pick up in Sherwood Park for $50.00.
FULL ORDERS
Order Weight

Average packaged weight is approx. 120 lbs (this is the amount that will end up in your freezer once the order has been trimmed, cut and wrapped. This number can vary +/- 60 lbs. per half).).
Price
Approximate all-in price is $1150, including butcher fees.
The final price is based on the weight of your order, which can vary up to +/- 60 lbs. per half.
Price breakdown:
Pork cost (Hansen Beef): $4.25 (no GST)
Butcher fees (Country Quality Meats): $1/lb. + additional butcher fees for slaughter, cooling, recycling of approx. $110 (plus GST).
Price example:
Pork: 200 lbs x $4.25 = $850
Butcher fees: 200 lbs x $1 = $200 + $110 = $310 x 5% = $325.50
Total cost: $850 + $325.50 = $1175.50
